The Non-Guatemalans of Groundwork Guatemala

Kevin and Ginny Holmes obeyed God's call to the mission field in Guatemala after serving on several mission trips, and moved to Guatemala in 2007. Kevin, who worked for AAL/Thrivent for twenty-three years in Illinois and Florida, and Ginny, teacher and music director, have a deep love for the Guatemalan people. They desire to partner with the believers in this third-world country to bring the Light of Christ to the many who are walking in darkness, and to begin to lay a foundation of faith found in God's Word so that people seek Jesus with all their heart. Kevin is always the "whatever you need me to do" guy, going out each day loving and caring for the people we serve. Ginny oversees our mission teams and keeps communication linked between Guatemala and the States. They are delighted to be serving with their daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Randy, as well as a great team of missionaries in Guatemala.

Randy and Rachel Stauner are newlyweds who God brought together in Guatemala of all places! Randy spent a year serving in Guatemala and Rachel has traveled back and forth to Guatemala so many times in the past few years that she has lost count. They both fell in love with the people of Guatemala and are excited at the opportunity to serve in the ministry and look forward to visiting very soon! Rachel handles the administrative side of Groundwork Guatemala from the U.S. and Randy is the hard working website guy and president of Groundwork Guatemala by night and computer programmer by day.
